The Grain Store in Pwllheli is a well-regarded cottage with stunning views and a peaceful location. Guests appreciate its proximity to Abersoch, cleanliness, and cosy atmosphere. While some noted areas for improvement in maintenance and furnishings, the property's charm and the owners' hospitality are frequently praised. The tranquil setting and scenic views contribute to a relaxing holiday experience.
Most guests found the cottage to be clean and tidy, with spotless conditions mentioned. However, a few reviews noted that certain areas could benefit from deeper cleaning or maintenance, slightly lowering the score.
The location is highly praised for its superb views, tranquillity, and proximity to Abersoch. Guests appreciate the short walk to the village and the scenic surroundings, making it an ideal spot for a peaceful retreat.
Guests generally find the beds comfortable and the cottage cosy, though some mention the mattresses being too soft for their preference. The comfort level is deemed adequate for a pleasant stay.
The cottage is equipped for self-catering and offers a well-stocked kitchen. However, some guests suggest that the lounge and kitchen could benefit from updates and better maintenance, impacting the overall facilities score.
While guests mention thoughtful touches like home-grown apples from the owners, there is not enough consistent information about gifts or extra thoughtful gestures to accurately score this category.
