With plenty of footpaths locally, there is much to explore including the beautiful coastline and the pretty village of Aberdaron. The National Trust’s Plas yn Rhiw is a short drive away, and the property is equidistant from Pwllheli, with its weekly market, and Abersoch. Also worth a visit is Criccieth with its historic castle. The spectacular mountain scenery of the Snowdonia National Park is also easily accessible. Shop and pub 3 miles, restaurant 7 miles.

Absolutely amazing place. Had everything we could have needed. The house is big but still cosy and very comfy. Rhos y grug was spotless on arrival and clear instructions on what to do with everything. The location was great for us over bonfire night as not a single firework could be heard (dogs are terrified of them), Nice garden for the dogs to sniff around in although had to go out with them as both our dogs could jump over the wall onto the road if they wanted to. Comfy sofas, comfy beds and bonus of a dryer for the rainy days

Wonderful place to stay. All you could wish for comfort wise and equipment. It was spotless. You can travel to both sides of the peninsula from the cottage, fantastic scenery. Our dogs enjoyed it too. Thank you

House was lovely but poor location. Disappointed that it was on a main junction with Road only a couple of metres away from dining room.Also, garden is not secure for children or pets. Dogs could easily get under gate and the play equipment is at the front of house which is unsecured.Only a small backyard with bench and table.More suitable for adult only party
