If you fancy a day out, a short drive away is Porthdinllaen Beach, home to a popular beachside inn once voted in the top ten best beach bars in the world, a glorious spot to spend a lazy afternoon. You’ll also be within easy reach of Porthmadog, home to the Welsh Highland Railway, and fashionable Abersoch is also nearby.

Visit Criccieth and Harlech, where you’ll find the historic castles of the area. Snowdonia National Park is nearby, walk one of the many routes to the summit or take a more leisurely train ride, be sure to book your tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.
