The coastal village of Llanbedrog is situated on the Llyn Peninsula and makes a wonderful base for exploring this beautiful part of North Wales. The village offers two pubs, both serving food. There are lots of nearby sandy beaches, remote bays and numerous walks. Sailing, fishing, pony trekking and golf are all available locally, and the Snowdonia National Park is within easy reach. Just a scenic drive away is the picturesque town of Pwllheli, home to a stunning sandy beach and marvellous views, as well as a regular market which has been running since the 14th century and is popular amongst tourists and locals for its eclectic mix of art and craftworks, along with a smaller local produce market on Sundays.

The house is located in a really quiet area that is ideally situated for exploring. The welcome pack has excellent suggestions included within it as well as really useful general information. There are supermarkets within walking distance and a big ASDA about a ten minute drive away. The house is spotless and the owner clearly supports local artisans. We also found Sykes/Menai to be an excellent company to book our holiday with and would definitely book with them again.

We had a fabulous stay. The location was perfect to explore the peninsula and we were so blessed with the weather. The cottage itself was lovely although we did find the lighting in the kitchen a little gloomy as we like to cook and spend time at the dining table. All in all a great stay but maybe make the directions a little clearer. We had to ask one of the neighbours as we were looking for the pink sign which wasnât there
