Guests say

Glan-Mor offers a peaceful coastal retreat with direct access to a quiet beach, making it ideal for dog owners and those seeking tranquillity. Guests consistently praise the friendly and welcoming owner, as well as the excellent location close to the sea and local amenities. While the property is described as dated and in need of some refurbishment, it is generally considered clean and comfortable, with good value for money. Some guests noted areas for improvement in garden maintenance and facilities, but the overall experience is positive, especially for those who appreciate a relaxed, unpretentious setting.

Most guests found the property clean, especially considering it is pet-friendly, with fresh linen and towels. However, several reviews mention dust, cobwebs, and areas needing a deeper clean, particularly in corners and bathrooms. A minority of guests reported issues with damp smells and general upkeep.

The location is highly praised, with immediate access to the beach and coastal path, proximity to the town, and a tranquil setting ideal for relaxation and stargazing. The only minor drawback mentioned is the property being a little tricky to find initially.

Guests generally found the accommodation warm, comfortable, and spacious, with a good night's sleep reported. Some noted firm beds and a lack of curtains, but overall comfort was satisfactory, especially for the price.

Facilities are described as basic and somewhat dated, with some maintenance issues such as non-functioning doors, inconsistent hot water, and untidy gardens. The kitchen is adequately equipped for couples, but the property would benefit from refurbishment and improved garden security for dogs.

Several guests appreciated thoughtful touches such as milk, tea, coffee, and biscuits on arrival, and the owner's flexibility with check-in times. Please note that these gestures are not guaranteed for all stays.

The property is a little run down and doesn’t give a good impression on arrival. The side access to the sand dunes and beach is fabulous, but there is no safe place to let the dogs off in the garden, which for a dog friendly property is essential for us. The layout of the proper is a little strange, from the back of the apartment where the kitchen is the patio door does not open so we where shown by the owner how to get out through a door into the garage, in the event of a fire. The property is old fashioned which we did not mind but parts could do with a good clean and a little attention. Mr Curd was there to great us and left milk in the fridge which was a thoughtful touch.

Glan - Mor ; I feel that the images on the internet, were possibly taken about ten years ago ,as certain aspects of the property were a little ' tired' That aside the place was clean ,very close the the sea front and a pleasant landlord !
