Boasting an interior full of character whilst framing spectacular coast and country views, Crowrach Cottage makes an excellent base for a group celebration to Wales. Marvel at the peaceful greenery enveloping your new home-from-home as you park up on the driveway and unload your belongings, making your way inside to begin your staycation. Stepping inside, be charmed by the traditional character of the living/dining room, thoughtfully laid-out with exposed wooden beams and a rustic open fire nestled within an original stonework fireplace, enticing you to kick off your shoes and unwind with a moment of peace in front of the television. Moving through the property, discover the spacious kitchen/diner, where you'll find a range of fantastic facilities to assist with your self-catering needs, whilst a handy freezer and washing machine can be found in the external utility. Uncork a bottle of wine and gather together with your loved ones at the dining table to indulge, or make mealtimes an alfresco affair with a sociable seat in your very own private garden, backed by the peaceful setting of the rural countryside. When day draws to night, retreat indoors and climb the stairs to the first-floor where you'll find three well-presented bedrooms, comprising of a double, a twin and a bunk room, ideal for the little ones, whilst a further twin bedroom can be accessed via a set of stairs leading off from the kitchen area. In the morning, start your day off right with a blissful soak amongst the bubbles in the tub before joining your guests for a steaming cup of coffee in the sunny conservatory. Pack up your beach-going essentials and head to the shores of the nearby Traeth Porth Ceiriad, a delightfully rural spot providing a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, whilst the glorious sands of Abersoch Harbour Beach offer the perfect setting for those looking for coastal adventures and watersports opportunities. If you'd prefer to stay on land, be sure to visit Abersoch Golf Club, a well-kept 18-hole course boasting spectacular views of the Llyn Peninsula, whilst you'll find all of your local amenities in the centre of the village itself, including the popular restaurant, The Potted Lobster, along with a host of high-street and independent shops. The 16th century manor house of Plas yn Rhiw rests a short distance away, where vibrant seasonal gardens provide a truly tranquil spot for a peaceful wander, whatever time of year. No trip to North Wales would be complete without a visit to Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, renowned for its rugged landscape, where thrill-seekers can tackle the challenging climb to the summit of Yr Wyddfa (Mount Snowdon), the tallest mountain in the country, or delve deep underground and zip-wire through enchanting slate caverns. However you plan to spend your time visiting this picturesque part of Wales, be sure to choose Crowtach Cottage.

The charming harbour village of Abersoch is idyllically positioned on the Llyn Peninsula and is renowned for its stunning scenery and varied walking. Located between two beautiful bays, the village hosts regular sailing regattas, whilst tourists can find many shops, pubs, restaurants, and cafes. Well stocked with everything you would need and easy access for exploring the area. Couple of negative points though: a highchair was said to be available but we couldn’t find one (we did find the travel cot though); the smell of fuel from the boiler in the kitchen was at times overpowering (we assume it was safe!). Other points: it was frustrating to find that we didn’t have towels (as advertised) for the first 36 hours of our stay, especially as we had all been on the beach! Also the property was left insecure (the double doors were unlocked). Finally, the advertised What3Words location isn’t quite correct: we used ///divisible.snuggle.sofa
