Just a pleasant drive away, the town of Criccieth plays host to an imposing fortress, the captivating Amgueddfa Lloyd George Museum, and the pebbled shores of Traeth Criccieth, whilst also providing easy links to Pwhelli and Porthmadog through the local train station. Watch as colourful boats bob happily in the waters of Harbwr Porthmadog, before a tour of the Maritime Museum or a ride on the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways, or spend the day in the pretty Italian-style village of Portmeirion with tropical gardens, luxurious spas and well-established restaurants awaiting your arrival.
