Llanbedrog, a small fishing village on the Llyn Peninsula in North Wales, is a great starting point for adventures in the area. There are two restaurants to choose from in this small town. Sandy beaches, secluded bays, and hiking trails are all within easy driving distance. Snowdonia National Park is conveniently close, and the surrounding area offers ample opportunities for sailing, fishing, pony trekking, and golf. Pwllheli, just a short drive away, is a charming town with a beautiful beach and breathtaking scenery, as well as a weekly market that has been going strong since the 14th century and is popular with both tourists and locals for its wide variety of handmade arts and crafts and fresh produce on Sundays.

First impressions really count however the entrance to the property was so disappointing; filthy and lots of cobwebs with ingrained dirt on the door and the sills/frame. On entering the property sadly we were presented with a musty damp smell. The portable heaters in each room was evidence that the property suffered with damp. The en suite did not have any hot water and the kitchen had a very slow flow of hot water. The hallway window had mould in it as did the en-suite window. (A shower over the bath in the en-suite would be beneficial). The kitchen is dated but adequate. Having two dogs we wanted to hoover up but the hoover did not work despite us emptying the full bag inside. The TV had no terrestrial channels but thankfully Netflix was available. We used the property as a base as we made sure we went out daily. Sadly I would not return to this property neither can I recommend it.

Location is fabulous, with the beach approx 10 minutes away. There is a well stocked co-op and Spar near by and bigger town 10 minutes drive away. A great base for walkers and for a beach holiday. The garden was not enclosed, which we knew from advert, so care needed with the dogs. We felt that the kitchen equipment and the bed linen, while more than adequate were not 5* hence the 4* grading. That said they will last a good while yet. So not a problem.
