Porthmadog is 2 miles, Bortha Y Gest a mere walking distance (coastal path) host several cafes and restaurants, independent shops, harbour and various supermarkets. Enjoy a trip on the famous Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railway, on the little narrow gauge steam engines. Venture to Snowdonia National Park for fabulous mountain scenery and hiking within 30 minutes by car. A trip to the Italianate village of Portmeirion (6 miles) is well worth it so see the beautiful gardens and try out the eateries and shops. Criccieth (7mile), with a castle , beach and a popular Dylan’s seafood restaurant. Harlech (11 miles) renowned for its castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, sand dunes and beach.

The garden has a paved patio, table, chairs, charcoal BBQ and fabulous coastal views. Set in 3.5 acres, with dense natural woodland surrounding the garden. There is also another shower and WC accessed from the garden, perfect for washing the sand off after a day at the beach. There is lockable storage space for your kayaks, paddleboards, or bikes. The land set around the house, has some steep drops and thorny vegetation.

Accessibility Guide: Please note the property is set on a small hill. Access to the property is through a steep tarmacked drive up to the gate followed by a further drive up on a gravelled drive. There is parking and turning area for at least 2 cars. To enter you will find a large concreted steep to the front door which has a heavy duty self-close hinge to avoid door being blown open as the winds here can be quite strong. To the rear door there is a small step into the house. The accommodation, living area and bathrooms are all on the ground floor with a shower over bath. Walk to the main road and to the beach is a 5-10 min but an energetic walk down and up the hill.
