Only disappointment was that we’d never had a property before lacking either a hairdryer or an iron. This could have been made clear in the information we received beforehand. Luckily Wilko was handy to remedy both omissions! Really enjoyed our week there.

It was reasonably priced and pleasant although small, once the curtains were closed in the evening. The marketing suggests this is a romantic get away cottage, this is clearly not the case. Not withstanding this we had an enjoyable week and it was reasonably priced.

We only stayed for two nights. Decorated very well and looks great. Couple of things the bed was really uncomfortable and the owners might need to replace the mattress for a more comfortable one. Also we missed a sofa, the chairs match the room looking great and are comfortable, but you can’t have a cuddle on separate chairs. We ate out and did not use the kitchen, but I would definitely add a dishwasher. Also the bench outside the cottage on the photos belongs to next doors resident. She is lovely and didn’t mind us using it, but it needed some outside seating. It is also very much placed in a car park. Which is ideal and central opposition the Cob and at the end of the high street, but noisy as early as 7 with no privacy. Regardless to this we enjoyed it, if they sort out the mattress we would return for a short stay . I could manage a week without a sofa or dishwasher for the price if the rental it’s a deal breaker for us.
