To the back of the house is a long stretch of lawn, at the end of it sits a patio with a heater and a fantastic summer house where you can make the most of the warmer weather. The centre of Nefyn is just a short walk away and is a delightful base for exploring this fantastic part of North Wales. The popular seaside resorts of Pwllheli and Abersoch are within easy driving distance, offering fantastic beaches and also good watersports facilities as well as a good range of amenities. The majestic Snowdonia National Park is also within easy distance, a must visit whilst you're in North Wales. Glyn Afon is a splendid cottage in a great coastal location.
The town of Nefyn sits atop cliffs on the Llyn Peninsula, featuring a beach, popular with families. The town offers shops, pubs and restaurants and is within reach of Pwllheli and Abersoch. The coastline around this region is dotted with castles and coves, while fishing, sailing and water sports are all available. The Snowdonia National Park is 25 miles away, with its scenery and walks. With its proximity to such a wide range of destinations, Nefyn makes a superb base for a break.

This was a last minute getaway for us it was perfect. Great place & great location. My kids loved it and didnât want to leave. Thanks very much would stay again without a doubt.

However, we were quite troubled by the musty/damp smell throughout the house especially with our young children. There were also not even enough drinking glasses in the kitchen for the 5 of us! Iâm afraid to say we also found the property quite unclean. The garden is very nice but we would not stay here again. We also contacted Sykes when we were there asking for advice on how to open the patio doors and they didnât get back to us.

Wonderful area, with so much around, beaches, mountains, towns and villages, the Maritime Museum, lots of historical sights (including the Neolithic axe factory site on Mynydd Rhiw), the coast path, and the Welsh language centre at Nant Gwrtheyrn with lovely âcaffiâ. I enjoyed practising my Welsh every day as the area is predominantly Welsh-speaking. The house was large and very well equipped, with a big lawned garden and summerhouse by the side of the little river. We would certainly stay here again.
