About this property

Fron Fawr is a large holiday cottage sitting on a hillside overlooking the town of Nefyn, on the Llyn Peninsula. Enjoying gorgeous sea views in the distance, you’ll never tire of sitting and looking out across the peaceful countryside that surrounds you. However, you’re also just a short walk from Nefyn's pubs and shops.

Enter via the front door and you’re straight into the kitchen-diner. There’s a wooden table seating up to six people which is perfect for family meals. Opposite is a comfortable seating space with a TV, two sofas and an armchair set around a large wood burning stove which keeps the space feeling cosy. The kitchen offers a fridge, freezer, oven/hob, microwave, dishwasher. The utility room has a washer and dryer and offers hanging space to store outdoor gear. There’s a separate cloakroom with a toilet, hand-wash basin and shower, too.

Head through into the intimate and cosy snug. In here there are two comfortable sofas around a log burner. With a TV with freeview and a DVD player, it acts as another area to relax.

Each of the three bedrooms have wonderful views across the countryside to the bay in the distance. The master bedroom has a double bed and an en suite with electric shower, loo and wash hand basin. There’s also a king size bedroom and a twin.

The family bathroom has a loo, wash hand basin, bath with electric shower over.

The large conservatory is located at the far end of the house and boasts sea views. There is a second wooden table in here that seats six and is great for a sunny-evening supper! There is also a sofa and electric reclining chair which is the ideal place to relax with a glass of wine and watch the sun set.

Fron Fawr has a large lawned garden which slopes gently down hill. It offers amazing views of Nefyn and the sea. Getting sunshine from dawn to dusk, sit out here no matter the time of day and enjoy the views!

Whilst you’re in a quiet location, you’re only a ten minute walk from the centre of Nefyn where you’ll find a couple of places to eat and drink and a post office. The shops in Nefyn sell locally-grown produce, there’s one of the best golf courses in the world, along with the Llŷn coastal path and stunning vistas. Importantly, you’re also close to one of the finest beaches on the entire Llyn Peninsula! Whatever sort of holiday in North Wales you’re after, you can have it in Fron Fawr.

The pretty coastal town of Nefyn sits atop sweeping cliffs on the north coast of the Llyn Peninsula, and features a fine two mile stretch of sandy beach, popular with families. The town offers a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants and is within reach of the amenities of the popular towns of Pwllheli and Abersoch. The coastline around this region is dotted with castles and coves, while fishing, sailing and water sports are all available. The Snowdonia National Park is 25 miles away, with its dramatic scenery and abundance of superb walks. With its proximity to such a wide range of destinations, Nefyn makes a superb base for a break.
