About this property

A delightful, stone-built barn conversion situated near the village of Chwilog in North Wales. The excellent coastal location and warming living areas, Beudy Mawr is a great stay for families wanting a holiday by the sea. Step into this chocolate box cottage and into the warming sitting room which has plenty of comfortable seating along with a Freeview TV and a woodburning stove to keep you warm on those colder evenings. The kitchen diner is topped with wooden beams and is well-equipped with all of the appliances that you will need during your stay. The ground floor is complete with a cosy double bedroom and a family bathroom. Moving up the stairs, there is two more bedrooms under the eaves with uplifting velux windows lighting the place up, one of the bedrooms is suitable for children with a pull-out bed. Why not sit out on your private patio and enjoy a refreshing drink or even some al fresco dining with great surroundings? The village of Chwilog is a delightful place just off the coast that provides the basic amenities in a pub and a shop. Nearby are the popular North Wales spots of Criccieth, Abersoch and Pwllheli, all offering something different and all most certainly worth visiting. Beudy Mawr is a pleasant cottage in an excellent coastal location.

In a truly idyllic position and in the heart of the beautiful unspoilt countryside of the Lleyn Peninsula, lies the 100-acre estate of Talhenbont. Full of immaculate cottages that have been thoughtfully renovated to the highest standards, this is one of the finest self catering retreats in Wales. With range of on-site amenities, such as an all weather tennis court, outdoor chess, numerous pet animals and "The Quackery" - which houses a great variety of birds - guests will be spoiled for choice before even leaving the estate. There are a number of great activities outside of Talhenbont, however, including a one and a half mile stretch of river which provides excellent walks and safe areas for children to play or paddle. This river has also been made a designated habitat for otters and offers salmon and sea trout fishing. In addition the area offers castles, beaches, golf courses and the Snowdonia National Park.
