About this property

Located in a fabulous location with views across the rolling countryside towards the mountains, Caernarfon Bay and Anglesey this makes Tyddyn Ddeugoed a wonderful cottage. No detail has gone unnoticed by the owners which makes this holiday cottage the perfect place to relax and unwind.

With cycle routes and footpaths close by this is a fantastic place to explore. You’re a short drive to the beaches of Anglesey, the historic town of Caernarfon with its impressive castle and Snowdonia national park as your backdrop. Despite being in a quiet location you are a short drive to the local supermarket.

The sitting room has three comfy sofas with an inglenook fireplace and a warming wood burning stove. There is a TV, DVD and plenty of space to enjoy a board game or a pack of cards.

The kitchen/diner is a bright and cheerful room with fantastic views. The kitchen is well equipped with electric cooker, gas hob, fridge with freezer compartment, full size freezer, washer dryer and dishwasher. Sat next to the kitchen is the dining table and chairs.

There are two well presented bedrooms with king size beds. The bathroom has a roll-top bath, hand held showeer, loo and wash hand basin. One bedroom has ensuite with electric shower, loo and wash hand basin.

There is an enclosed garden with fantastic views and outside furniture.

Llanrug is a small village with two pubs, two shops, a Post Office, a hotel with indoor swimming pool and fitness room, and a 9 hole golf course is nearby. The village is situated in the foothills of the Snowdonia Mountain Range, only 3 miles from famous Llanberis. Dominated by the grandeur of the Snowdon Massif, Llanberis is flanked by two lakes, Llyn Padarn and Llyn Peris, and is one of the most popular mountain tourist centres in the Snowdonia National Park. Llanberis is something of a 'mecca' for walkers and climbers, being the starting point for the ascent of Snowdon - the highest mountain in Wales. The ascent can be made either by train, on the Snowdonia Mountain Railway, or on foot along one of the many routes to the summit. Llanberis boasts excellent places to eat and drink and a great choice of shopping. Just 4 miles from Llanrug, on the coast, is Caernarfon with its magnificent 13th century castle and town walls and close by are National Trust properties at Penrhyn and Plas Newydd and many wonderful beaches.
