Featuring a sleeping area upstairs and panoramic glazing at both levels for magnificent views across the Welsh landscape, Little Dragon is an eye-catching structure, inside and out. Soft furnishings and a roaring log fire breathing warmth through the structure provide a homely experience, whilst the circular mattress that consumes the whole top floor offers a peaceful retreat to sleep, or to relax all day and be immersed in the stunning scenery around you.
Featuring a sleeping area upstairs and panoramic glazing at both levels for magnificent views across the Welsh landscape, Little Dragon is an eye-catching structure, inside and out. Inspired by the iconic emblem of Wales, its design includes an unique blend of industrial heritage and Welsh folklore. The scaly shingle exterior and claw-like base are evocative of the smoke-breathing beast that, according to legend, once dominated the country’s rugged landscape.
A warm Welsh welcome — or ‘croeso cynnes Cymreig’ awaits inside. Soft furnishings and a roaring log fire breathing warmth through the structure provide a homely experience, whilst the circular mattress that consumes the whole top floor offers a peaceful retreat to sleep, or to relax all day and be immersed in the stunning scenery around you. *Please note that the upper floor is accessed via a fixed vertical wooden ladder and whilst it is well worth the climb it is also unsuitable for less mobile guests.
Main features include...
Little Dragon is one of eight cabins which were the focus of the recent Channel 4 documentary 'Cabins in the Wild'. All eight cabins are inspired by Welsh legends and together they form Epic Retreats – Wales’ first pop-up boutique hotel - now welcoming guests for the rest of the summer.

Sarah from USA
Wales is the most beautiful country in the world I have visited (and I travel for a living!) . It's a country that many in the USA have never visited so I plan on doing my part to spread the word about its beauty and the warmth of the Welch people. Our on the Llyn Peninsula was one of the best experiences ever! my favorite experience was finding and standing in-between standing stones. The food was delicious, activities were something we never would have experienced otherwise, and the staff immediately felt like old friends. I can't say enough good things about the experience!! Many thanks!
