This cosy detached holiday cottage in the grounds of the owners’ house is perfect for relaxing after a hard day’s shopping or exploring the delightful bustling city of Chester. There is a large garden, complete with orchard, and plenty of room to sit out and enjoy the evening sunshine. Chester has much to offer, including the historic cathedral and city walls, as well as family attractions such as Chester Zoo and Cheshire Oaks. Woodhouse Cottage is also ideal for exploring northeast Wales and Llangollen, being conveniently located for the A55. Shops 2 miles, pub ½ mile.

A well presented property in a good location for Chester and North Wales.Excellent and helpful, charming owners. We enjoyed our week here and would love to return next year. Lots to do and see in the area.Shop and Petrol station close by.

We booked this property as a launch site for visiting Chester and North Wales. It was very convenient for both. We were made to feel welcome by the owners, and loved the property.Comfort and equipment is scored a little lower because the cottage guide needs overhauling to ensure necessary info is in one place. The guide to local places to ear had been put in a draw, and the WiFi password was on a different document. VCooking facilities are a little restricted if you intend to do a lot of cooking. BUT, this is a lovely comfortable place to stay.

As a dog owner I think the overview should state that the garden is not enclosed for dogs and the owner also told us that the dog was not to be left in the house unattended.
