This cosy detached holiday cottage in the grounds of the owners’ house is perfect for relaxing after a hard day’s shopping or exploring the delightful bustling city of Chester. There is a large garden, complete with orchard, and plenty of room to sit out and enjoy the evening sunshine. Chester has much to offer, including the historic cathedral and city walls, as well as family attractions such as Chester Zoo and Cheshire Oaks. Woodhouse Cottage is also ideal for exploring northeast Wales and Llangollen, being conveniently located for the A55. Shops 2 miles, pub ½ mile.

We had a lovely midweek break at Woodhouse cottage. Excellent location for Chester and many other places. Would definitely recommend it.

Had a great three night break. Visited chester xmas market(£25 taxi fare). Lovely quiet location and everything we needed. Good local pub for food, a couple of miles up the road, called the red lion. The host left us some beautiful lemon drizzle cake and a bottle of wine for our stay. We would definitely stay again at this location.
