Choose the informal breakfast bar for a morning catch-up, or settle into the dedicated dining room, set up for six, when you fancy longer, leisurely meals. When you’re ready to put your feet up, the sitting room welcomes you with generous seating, an electric stove‑effect fire, and a Smart TV for easy evenings in. Sleeping arrangements suit mixed groups: a good-sized family room with a double bed alongside a single and trundle bed, plus a separate double bedroom, and a walk-in shower room to refresh after the outdoors. Better still, one well-behaved dog is welcome too, so no one has to miss out.

Downstairs, the pub is close at hand for nights when you’d rather leave the cooking to someone else. Delicious food and drink is served between Wednesdays and Sundays. There are plenty of footpaths in the area that connects your stay to Loggerheads Country Park and Nercwys Forest—perfect dog-walking spots and only around a 5–10 minute drive from your stay. For days out, take in the attractions and activities of Llangollen and the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, or head to Talacre for some beach time, alongside the accessible seaside towns of Conwy and Llandudno.

Chester is just 16 miles away, with its historic buildings, riverside walks, racecourse and excellent shopping. An excellent touring base for North Wales.
