Snaptrip says

Ty Cerrig is a well-received cottage in North Wales, praised for its cosy atmosphere, stunning views, and ideal location for exploring the region. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches, such as Welsh cakes and the wood burning stove, contributing to a comfortable stay. While most reviews are positive, a few guests have noted areas for improvement in cleanliness and maintenance.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Most guests found Ty Cerrig clean and tidy, with several positive comments about its condition. However, a few reviews mentioned the need for a deeper clean, which slightly lowers the overall cleanliness score.

The location is highly praised for its tranquillity, proximity to good walks, and ease of access to local attractions. The picturesque setting and convenience for exploring North Wales contribute to a high location score.

Guests generally regard the cottage as comfortable, with a particularly comfortable bed and cosy living space. Some concerns about the sofa and bed comfort in a few reviews slightly affect the comfort score.

The cottage is well-equipped according to most guests, with a powerful shower and essential kitchen items. However, comments on the lack of Wi-Fi, washing machine, and some maintenance issues lead to a moderate facilities score.

The owners' thoughtfulness is frequently mentioned, with guests appreciating welcome gifts such as Welsh cakes, although it's noted that such gestures are a bonus and not guaranteed with every stay.

Lots of walking and eating good food then coming back to a lovely little cottage and I'm sure we'll be coming back th ty cerrig.

It was lovely to come back from Snowdon and be able to have a soak in a bath. The log fire came in very handy in those colder October evenings. Will definitely be recommending this cottage and hopefully will be able to stay here again

However, the bed and sofa were extremely uncomfortable and the TV was faulty. The mattress is old and neither of us had a good sleep on the nights we remained there. We did message the owners and they brought a single mattress topper and a duvet to improve the comfort which didn't make any difference. The sofa itself was manufactured in 2005 and so it is very soft in the seat area with no support and so uncomfortable. The TV has a strange flashing/pixelation on the screen. We returned home 2 days early with sore backs and very tired and disappointed.
