Walk to the end of the terrace row and make your way into the lovely enclosed patio area belonging to October Cottage before entering the property, discover a homely sitting room with a woodburning stove, sofa, armchair and rustic stone fireplace, as well as a TV, so you can wind down after a busy day. To the back of the property is the kitchen/diner, with a drop leaf table perfect for enjoying home-cooked meals together and a host of appliances in the kitchen area. Head upstairs to find two snug bedrooms, with a double bed with a TV in the first room, and a triple bunk against the wall in the second bedroom, along with a contemporary shower room. Make use of the lovely front garden area, which has seating on the patio, home to a small shed, which houses the tumble dryer for added convenience during your stay. The neighbouring town of Caerwys is a little over a mile away and is where you can pick up all the food and essentials you need, with a local butcher offering locally sourced meats and a collection of other small businesses to enjoy. Walkers will delight in exploring the wondrous Clwydian Hill Range, home to Moel Famau, which offers stunning views from the summit, or embark on a journey along a section of Offa's Dyke Path, which dates back 12 centuries and runs alongside the border between England and Wales, and also leads to Bronze Age Hill Fort at Penycloddiau which is just 1.5 miles up the hill on the same road as October Cottage. Enjoy a beach day whatever the weather at one of the many beaches along the North Wales coastline, with Prestatyn Beach awarded Blue Flag status, or Rhyl Beach, which backs onto a bustling beachfront with an aquarium, pavilion, Water Park, adventure playground and a cinema.
