Lixwm is situated close to the towns of Mold, Holywell and seaside town of Prestatyn. If walking is your passion, then the highest hill in the Clwydian range, Moel Famau and the Offa’s Dyke path are both on the doorstep waiting to be conquered. This two bedroomed property is tucked away near woodlands offering a quiet and peaceful retreat.
The lounge, dining room and kitchen are well designed in an open living style. There is a Smart TV, comfortable sofas and electric heater providing a cosy space to relax in the evening. For those who like to cook, the kitchen offers an electric oven, hob and large fridge/freezer, providing everything you need to knock up a Welsh breakfast or evening meal. Venture further up the coast to the Victorian seaside town of Llandudno or over to the Snowdonia National Park for fabulous days out. Matty’s Place welcomes your furry friends too, there are some fabulous walks directly from the property.

Lounge area was cosy but bathroom was too damp which made the toilet paper damp aswell, no place to hold shower head and no shower curtains, overall place wasn’t cleaned and no cleaning equipment not provided even thought one of the instructions was to clean pet hair off everything.

what a fantastic little bit of heaven, listening to Owls as you drop off to sleep and waking up to woods behind and views of the mountains out the front that are breathtaking.Even waking up to the scene of snow on the hilltops was just as special, we loved every minute of our stay, in fact the only thing i can find to complain about has nothing to do with the place or the owners, it was the local pub that let us down.We were there for my wifes birthday and on the thursday we had nothing to eat as we planned to go to the pub for a meal only to be told by the barmaid they don't serve food on thursday and then as we sat by the fire enjoying a drink i see food being brought out to the noisy people in the dining area!!We went down to Flint and bought a lovely Chinese takeaway instead and sat watching TV in the peace and quiet of Mattys placeWould i recommend Mattys place. damn right i would, it was beautiful in winter so i can only imagine how amazing it will be in the summer!
