A beautiful place to stay, spotlessly clean and immaculately presented. Wendy & Tony are the best hosts, the welcome pack divine and Audrey the cat an absolute darling. And this was all before we even set foot in the garden or started exploring the area - it’s not close to any one specific thing but is a great base to explore from with Chester, the coast and Snowdonia all within easy reach. Carlsberg don’t do holiday accommodation, but if they did…

We loved the cottage, it has absolutely EVERYTHING you could need. We had the best welcome pack we’ve ever had….home baked treats, eggs, milk..just perfect! It’s warm and has a wood burner for a cosy evening in.The cottage is down a country lane but you’re soon on the A55 and then north Wales with all it has to offer is on your doorstep. The owners have a large plot including an orchard, vegetable plot, hens, flower beds, raspberry canes all very interesting to look around. We received a friendly welcome from the owners and we would definitely recommend it and we ourselves would love to stay again.
