Situated in stunning walking country near the Clwydian Hills, the lovely village of Whitford offers a wide range of activities. With a number of golf courses - including Pennant Park, which boasts a magnificent club-house and far reaching views over the River Dee, this area is very popular amongst fans of the sport. Further down the coast, visitors can enjoy a trip to Winefride's Well, one of the Seven Wonders of Wales situated in nearby Holywell, in addition to the remains of the 12th Century Basingwerk Abbey. Just a 10 minute drive away are numerous sandy beaches whilst the area is of particular interest to wildlife enthusiasts due to the dunes of nearby Talacre beach - an rspb recommended watch area. Also within driving distance is the bustling market town of Mold, full of picturesque buildings, shops, pubs and a nationally renowned theatre.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
