Set on the owner’s private estate, it is surrounded by parkland which has stunning views over the Clwydian Range. Golf, fishing and horse riding are all available a short stroll away. St Asaph, which is famous for its tiny cathedral, shops, inns and award winning restaurants, just 2 miles away. Visitors are spoilt for sightseeing choices as the property is situated midway between the historic city of Chester and Llandudno, with glorious sandy beaches just 6 miles away and it is an easy drive to Snowdonia National Park. Great location to unwind and switch off. The hot tub was lovely to relax in, we had to turn the temperature down because we were in the middle of a heatwave, but it still did the job wonderfully as we were overlooking the pond and bird filled trees. We woke up to them every morning it was great, no other noise whatsoever.Summer house exactly as described, it has enough equipment to cook, bbq, etc should you not want to leave and eat out. There are many great eating establishments a short drive away, or long walk if you prefer.The basics such as washing up liquid, sponges, cloths, brushes and t.towels are provided. Decor and furnishings are probably considered a little dated but absolutely in keeping with the age and type of property. It wouldn't look right to be modern and minimalist. If we had to pick just one thing to possibly request would be a lighter duvet in the main bedroom for the summer. Again, we were in middle of 30° heatwave so whatever was provided would probably be too much.Hosts just perfect.

Absolutely amazing place so quiet and private had the best few days there, the hosts were lovely, Steven brought us homemade lemon drizzle cupcakes that were delicious would definitely go back, superb value for money, it has everything you need to enjoy a nice peaceful private time away 10/10

Very nice and quiet place. The host is really helpful and you can have full privacy. Morning view with squirrels and birds just what you need for a recharging holiday.
