Summer House in St Asaph is praised for its stunning, peaceful location and beautiful gardens, offering guests privacy and lovely views. The hot tub is a standout feature, perfect for relaxing after exploring North Wales. While some guests found the cottage cosy and well-equipped, others noted that it is a little dated and had concerns about cleanliness and comfort. The hosts are generally described as friendly and helpful, though a few guests experienced issues with customer service and the coin-operated electricity system. Overall, it is a charming spot for a tranquil getaway, especially for those seeking relaxation and scenic surroundings.

Several guests found the property clean and tidy, but there are notable complaints about bathroom cleanliness, dust, and leftover items from previous guests. Some reviews mention damp-smelling towels and areas that appeared neglected, while others had a positive experience.

The location is consistently praised for its beauty, privacy, and proximity to North Wales attractions. Guests loved the peaceful setting, gardens, and views, making it a highlight of their stay.

Guests appreciated the cosy atmosphere and peaceful environment, but some found the cottage smaller than expected and the mattress uncomfortable. The hot tub and tranquil setting contributed positively to overall comfort.

The hot tub and garden are highly valued, and the cottage is generally described as well-equipped. However, the coin-operated electricity, dated decor, and basic TV were drawbacks for some guests. Maintenance issues with heaters and occasional lack of essentials were also mentioned.

While some guests felt well looked after and noted helpful hosts, others mentioned a lack of welcome items such as tea, coffee, or washing up liquid. There are no mentions of gifts, and the level of personal touches varied between stays.

The summer house is in the best and most private place you could ask for, really pretty surrounding so 10/10 for area and surroundings. However the cottage was smaller than I thought it would be however the hot tub and views made up for it. The cottage itself is cute however it is very very dated and the bathroom was not entirely clean, did find a few hairs on the floor and in the shower. The heaters provided are cheap electrical ones which did consume a lot of electricity, considering you have to pay for the electric via coins in the meter was not ideal. Also two out of the four heaters worked only which was inconvenient. I had read reviews previously about complaints about the bed mattress and the owner replied that they had changed it after feedback. I can say that the mattress was awful and very uncomfortable for me and my wife which ruined the quality of sleep. The other little things such as NO coffee or tea, washing up liquid or pods and the towels provided did smell a little damp. Also the TV was a basic non smart TV which should also be taken into consideration as this should be basic requirement in 2025.Overall the hosts are good and have us our privacy and the area of the cottage are fantastic, however I would not recommend it for the reason that it didn't feel the place was personalised for guests to get settled straight away, had to go Sainsbury's to get washing up items.
