Panoramic views, an outdoor hot tub and charming traditional features make this cottage ideal for a group or family to enjoy a break in the Welsh country. The hilltop town of Ruthin lies to the north of Llangollen via the breathtaking Horseshoe Pass. The town is picturesque with attractive half-timbered buildings, mainly clustered around St Peter’s Square.

On arrival there were fresh farm eggs and a lovely cake, which the kids absolutely loved. The host was wonderful and was so helpful during our stay. It was a little tricky finding the property in the dark, but the host was extremely helpful. A handy tip would to be use what three words to find the location - what3words address to help you find this specific location. It was around a 10 minute drive to the local supermarkets, 50 mins to Conwy castle and 50 mins to zipworld which is a must - especially if you have kids. The property was immaculate, and the facilities wonderful. The hot tub was a fantastic extra, which we all loved. I would highly recommend this property, especially when exploring North Wales.

The owners were welcoming and friendly. Stunning scenery. Very quiet and rural but easy to get to local village and nearby Ruthin. Lovely local walks.
