Alternatively, the snug room offers a quieter spot to curl up beside a woodburning stove and indulge in a good book.

The contemporary kitchen/diner is stylishly presented, featuring a table with seating for four people, and collection of appliances to make you feel right at home. Head up the open tread staircase with glass balustrade to reach upstairs, designed as an open mezzanine with king-size double bed and a stunning en-suite bathroom, complete with a double ended bath and walk-in shower, so you decide how to best prepare for the day. Just outside the bedroom is a wildflower garden which is lovely in the summer. Bi-fold doors in the dining room open into an enclosed garden and patio, offering a beautiful spot for some alfresco dining before enjoying a relaxing soak in the private hot tub. Set within a working farm you will get to see livestock including horses, alpacas, peacocks and sheep to name just a few. Also located on the farm is an equestrian centre where horse riding lessons and pony trekking are available. The farm is within the Clwydian Range Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is adjacent to extensive parkland suitable for walking and mountain biking straight from the property. It is less than a mile walk to the Offa’s Dyke Path. Both Ruthin and Denbigh are a short drive away and offer a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants to try, plus be sure to visit the iconic Denbigh castle, a mighty fortress which evokes the drama of medieval warfare.
