The seaside resort of Porthcawl and stunning Ogmore-by-Sea are both just a short drive away and offer lovely walks across beautiful sandy beaches. For the more energetic the Afon Forest Park a little further afield provides cycle trails for all abilities in magnificent scenery. Visit the stunning Gower Peninsula the city of Swansea and the Welsh capital Cardiff all making this a great base to enjoy the best of both worlds in the coast and country. (Please check admittance for the various attractions). Enter through a stable door through a small lobby and into the beautiful lounge with comfortable sofa and chairs and a warming wood burner. A real country cottage feeling throughout along with a contemporary twist makes this a super retreat any time of the year. Through to the delightful kitchen/diner with an electric Aga style oven and hob fridge/freezer and washing machine. There is also a table and chairs for your early morning breakfast and cosy evening meals. A doorway from the lounge leads to an inner hallway leading through to a rear conservatory where there is also a fridge/freezer. Completing this floor is the ground floor bathroom which is up two small steps and has a shower over bath and WC. Upstairs via a cottage style staircase to the first floor there are two good-sized double bedrooms with pretty furnishings. Please note one bedroom leads through to the other. There is a secondary stone staircase from the furthest bedroom which also leads back down to the lounge should private access be required.
