North Shore, with its large promenade backed by a crescent of Victorian hotels, and the quieter West Shore, with miles of sandy beachfront backed by sand dunes, both offer great views towards Anglesey and are located between two headlands, the Great Orme and the Little Orme. However, for the greatest views, take the Great Orme Tramway or a thrilling cable car ride of over a mile to the top of the 679-foot Great Orme. The town is home to some of North Wales' best restaurants, bars, and coffee shops, as well as the region's best theatre, Venue Cymru. Conwy, a town with a castle and well-preserved town walls, can be reached in under 5 minutes by car. The town has been classified as a World Heritage Site. You can find miles of sandy beaches along the North Wales coast, and the Snowdonia National Park is only 20 minutes distant.

3 issues 1. Only 3 medium sized plates not 4 2. Left side of toaster not working 3. Could not get oven to work - no instructions except for hob and extractor 3 suggestions 1. A small hand towel in the kitchen 2. A peg behind the door of the shower rooms to hang clothes 3. A small shower shelf to hold bar of soap, shampoo etc. rather than having to put on shower floor.

The courtyard facilities were ideal, a great sun trap in the evenings. The owner was particularly accomodating when asked to help us after vacating the property.

The bathrooms where beautiful, showers are powerful and a little bigger than usual. Location good, past the theatre away from the pier, a ten minute walk to Mostyn Street. There is a good Fish and Chips shop and a fine Italian restaurant in the same road, just two minute walk, and food shops nearby. Only request that there should be more plates and dishes. Just four of each. There are plenty of glasses and everything in the kitchen was of good quality apart from the pans. I only offer this small criticism in the hope of a report of 5star plus next time we visit.
