Snaptrip says

Treetops is a spacious and well-situated apartment in North Wales, appreciated for its peaceful location and as a base for exploring the area. Guests have enjoyed the roomy accommodation, the proximity to local attractions, and the natural surroundings. While some guests have reported issues with maintenance and a musty smell, the property has also received praise for its amenities and the responsiveness of the host.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Reviews indicate a mix of experiences regarding cleanliness. Some guests found the property clean and tidy, while others reported a musty smell and a lack of deep cleaning. The presence of a damp smell and the need for some guests to clean upon arrival have affected the score.

The location is consistently praised for being peaceful, quiet, and a great base for exploring North Wales. Its proximity to beaches, nature reserves, and local amenities has been highlighted as a positive aspect by many guests.

Guests have found the beds and furniture to be a mix of comfortable and in need of replacement. While some guests reported a good night's sleep, others mentioned issues with mattresses and noise from neighbours, which has impacted the comfort score.

Facilities such as the kitchen, Wi-Fi, and parking are well-regarded, but several reviews mention the need for maintenance and updates on appliances, furniture, and general upkeep. The responsiveness of the host to issues is noted, but the presence of maintenance issues has influenced the score.

Several guests mentioned receiving a welcome bottle of wine, which reflects thoughtfulness from the host. However, as not all guests reported receiving gifts and there were some inconsistencies, it is politely noted that such gestures are not guaranteed.

About this property

This lovely ground floor apartment is located in the owners’ detached home, situated in a quiet residential cul-de-sac less than a mile from the delightful village of Rhos-on-Sea, on the picturesque coastline of North Wales. The apartment is an ideal base for couples and families, with the benefit of being on the ground floor. The accommodation is spacious, comfortable and homely, decorated to a good standard throughout. With a warming flame-effect gas fire, the sitting room is a cosy place to relax after a busy day and settle down to watch a good film on the large flat-screen TV. The room also has a dining area where you can enjoy dinner as you discuss the day’s excursions and the kitchen is well equipped with a central island, where you can enjoy a morning coffee whilst planning the day ahead. The two bedrooms are well appointed and comfortable, including a main bedroom with a king-size bed so you can be sure of a good night’s sleep. Outside this lovely apartment is a paved patio area with furniture, parking and a garage which is perfect to secure bikes, kayaks and other watersports equipment. The village of Rhos-on-Sea is nearby, with its array of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as a superb beach that is ideal for bathing. You can take a stroll along the main promenade whilst watching the seaside activities and boats in the harbour, or stop and visit one of the many shops and cafes along the front. Enthusiastic walkers can explore Conwy Mountain or climb Mount Snowdon, a short drive away. Llandudno is also each to reach in the car, where you can take the cable car or the Great Orme Tramway to the summit of the Great Orme, and maybe enjoy a picnic at the top whilst admiring the superb views which stretch for miles. Slightly further afield is the town of Conwy, a designated World Heritage Site. A true medieval gem, Conwy is dominated by a splendid castle and completely enclosed by its well-preserved town walls. With so much to see and do in this wonderful portion of Wales, Treetops is ideally located to visit at any time of year with friends and family!

Rhos-on-Sea, a town on the North Wales coast, is four miles from Victorian Llandudno and 18 miles from popular inland destination Betws-y-Coed. Treetops is a fantastic base to explore the delights that North Wales has to offer, for which there are plenty. The apartment is a short walk or drive from local amenities. The town of Rhos On Sea offers a good mix of independent shops, takeaways, restaurants etc. Rhos On Sea is ideal for a quiet family holiday, but if you want more attractions you are just a short drive from busier places. Will never forget the lovely evenings we had sat as a family watching the sunset each night on the beach at Rhos On Sea.
