It is only four miles from gorgeous Betws-y-Coed, known as the "Gateway to Snowdonia," and North Wales' most popular inland resort, that Llanrwst, a bustling market town, stands in the lovely Conwy Valley. This is a paradise for hikers and outdoor enthusiasts alike, surrounded by lush forest and stunning mountain scenery. The Conwy River meets its three west-flowing tributaries at Betws-y-Coed, where cascading waterfalls, river pools, and old bridges enhance the area's natural splendour. Llugwy River hurls itself into a dramatic chasm at Swallow Falls, which are the most famous of the several waterfalls in the area. Snowdonia National Park Visitor Center is located in the village, as well as the Conwy Valley, which leads to Llandudno and Conwy. The area also features stores, pubs, restaurants, a miniature railway, a riverfront golf course, and the Woodland High Rope Activity Center.

! Had a great three day break at The Cwtch â¦. a well appointed quirky studio apartment. Ground floor accommodation with a private courtyard, so ideal if visiting with your doggy pal. Beautiful part of the world in a market town, an easy scenic drive from Conway and Llandudno, both well worth a visit. Our only criticism about the listing is the fact that we were searching for a property call The Cwtch, when in fact that is the name of the apartment which is situated within the Meadowsweet Hotel â¦. after driving up and down, then asking a few locals, we had to make a phone call to confirm the location. All in all, we had a lovely break in a fabulous apartment, which we would highly recommend. Thanks you Wales for being so dog-friendly â¦.. we had a blast

The garden area is nice. Bed was very comfortable. Honesty bar in lounge came in very useful! Just be aware that there is no oven, only a microwave and hob.
