Excellent location - just a short walk into town. Lots of room. Well appointed kitchen - plenty of crockery, cutlery, kitchen equipment. Bathroom facilities excellent - shower superb. It is certainly quirky but for us added to the charm.

) We made use of the living area, which was spacious and the bed was comfy. The kitchen was ok - we knew what we were getting so had prepared meals that we could cook with just two hob rings and a microwave, but it was sometimes a bit tricky. The bathroom facilities were good and the shower was always warm. Good location too - we would definitely rebook here if we were back in the area!

Converted from a previous Bar and Lounge, some of the bar fittings remain - notably the bar itself, in which a very comfortable King Size bed is located. The lounge features a leather sofa and another sofa doubling as a bed, and a window seat with round table in the bay window is ideal for taking meals. Clever use of lighting throughout gave the suite great atmosphere. The place was scrupulously clean when we arrived, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Llanrwst is a delightful town, with a Welsh Deli, an excellent Bangladeshi take-away, an ancient bridge spanning the river (as there's only room for one line of traffic there's endless amusement from watching the face-offs as two cars meet bumber-to-bumber at the apex and resolve who will reverse), a 15C Court House now acting as a cute tea room on the banks of the river, and the Eagle Hotel has a garden overlooking the river which is a wonderful place to have a drink on a sunlit evening. The town is ideally placed for all the major locations in Snowdonia and North Wales - we'd happily choose The Bar Suite again next time we're holidaying in that part of the world.
