About this property

Beech Cottages is a peaceful single-storey lodge set in the market town of Llanrwst, Conwy. Offering couples a scenic retreat on the edge of Eryri National Park, boasting an open-plan layout, a shared hot tub and allows pets. After arriving and settling into the nearby parking, or stepping off the train at Llanrwst station, you’ll step into a thoughtfully arranged lodge where wooden flooring and soft lighting create a sense of calm and flow. The open-plan living space invites you to flick on a playlist through the Smart TV as you whip up a romantic meal in the well-equipped kitchen, with everything to hand for easy evenings in.

As the scent of dinner fills the air, dim the lights and gather around the dining table for a quiet supper or a celebratory toast to your time away. The double bedroom is styled with deep tones and natural textures, offering a tranquil space to rest. An en-suite shower room completes the layout, with a walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC, a refreshing place to rinse off the day’s adventures before settling in for the evening. As night falls, the shared hot tub offers a peaceful spot to soak beneath the stars, with mountain views rising in the distance and the quiet hum of nature all around.

Guests also benefit from access to a chargeable on-site launderette, ideal for longer stays. Dogs are welcome too, with riverside paths and woodland trails nearby offering plenty of space to roam and explore together. Beech Cottages is a tranquil and well-placed base for couples seeking fresh air, scenic views and time to reconnect in the heart of North Wales.

Llanrwst is a thriving market town which stands in the beautiful Conwy Valley, only four miles from picturesque Betws-y-Coed, known as the 'Gateway to Snowdonia' and which is North Wales's most popular inland resort. Surrounded by dense woodland and magnificent mountain country, this is a haven for walkers and outdoor enthusiasts alike. At Betws-y-Coed the River Conwy meets its three tributaries flowing from the west, and the beauty of the area is enhanced by cascading waterfalls, river pools and ancient bridges. Most famous of all are the magnificent Swallow Falls, situated where the Llugwy River hurls itself into a spectacular chasm. The village has shops, pubs, places to eat, miniature railway, a riverside golf course and the Woodland High Rope Activity Centre, and is home to The Snowdonia National Park Visitor Centre, as well as being the start of the beautiful Conwy Valley which leads to the coast and the lovely towns of Llandudno and Conwy.
