About this property

Llansannan 2.3 miles. A delightful single-storey, timber-clad chalet, privately situated within the wider grounds of the owner's home, in an elevated position, above the hamlet of Bryn Rhyd-Yr-Arian, three miles from Llanfair Talhaiarn, near Abergele. This cosy and romantic cottage provides couples with a superb rural retreat with stunning views across the valley towards the hill upon which it is alleged that King Arthur’s table is to be found. The stylish open plan sitting room is bright and airy, with French doors leading out onto a sunny decking area. The kitchen is fully fitted with ample equipment for your holiday needs, and an intimate dining area allows for a cosy meal, perhaps with a good bottle of wine, before relaxing in the lounge with a movie. The double bedroom is pretty and welcoming with a shower room off the landing, which completes the accommodation. This pretty chalet is independently accessed along its private drive which, though steep, should be manageable in most cars, with ample turning space at the end. Outside, the private garden has decking which wraps around the front and side of the property. The third of an acre of lawned garden is enclosed with green hedges, and offers a patio area with Indian fire basket, as well as uninterrupted rural views. Listen to the nearby brook babbling by, a perfect place to relax amongst the abundant wildlife whilst planning the following day's adventures. The river Afon Aled runs through the hamlet, bordered by the Pilgrim’s Way and Clwydian Way for a short while, opening up miles of remote footpaths in all directions, or a short drive will bring you to the superb North Wales beaches at Abergele and Colwyn Bay. This delightful cottage offers couples a romantic, snug holiday hideaway in an unspoilt part of North Wales.

The pretty rural Welsh village of Llansannan lies equidistant between Denbigh, Llanwrst and Abergele, and offers a local general store, Post Office and friendly village pub. LLansannan is nestled on the banks of the River Aled, just 8 miles from the North Wales coast, with Colwyn Bay and Rhyl easily accessible.
