About this property

Resting centrally within the bustling, coastal town of Deganwy, Conwy, is Flat 1A Mona House, a fabulous, ground-floor apartment. Enveloped by a hub of shops and eateries, whilst paces away from the beach and shoreline, the apartment makes the ideal base for a romantic seascape, within easy reach of further areas of interest, including Llandudno and the Snowdonia National Park. Travel through the town and park up on the roadside, before entering your ground-floor abode. Be welcomed into the light-flooded living/dining room, complete with lofty ceilings, a delightful bay window, and a stylish interior, where you can unwind upon the plush sofa with the TV for entertainment. Head through the apartment to locate the compact yet well-equipped gally kitchen, where you can rustle up tasty dishes to be enjoyed around the table for two. Dining alfresco is also possible, with a private decked area to the rear of the home; set the bistro table, pour some wine, and bask in your coastal surroundings a little longer. Return indoors to catch some rest in the contemporary king-size bedroom, offering ample storage and a wall-mounted TV for lazy mornings, before completing your morning routine in the shower room. Explore the town by foot, reaching a whole host of amenities, including several convenience stores and supermarkets, The Olive Grove café, Nikki Ips Restaurant Wine Bar & Café, and The Grill Room Restaurant, whilst further options rest in Conwy. Enjoy strolls across Deganwy Beach and promenade, before crossing over to Conwy, where you can tour the Town Walls, discover Conwy Castle, or visit Plas Mawr, an Elizabethan townhouse, offering guided tours and a lovely picnic site. Be sure to tour Llandudno and its wealth of attractions, including the promenade, the Great Orme Summit Complex, the sweeping landscape of West Shore Beach, the botanical grounds of North Western Gardens, and Venue Cymru, showcasing a variety of events. Round off your break in Colwyn Bay, with the Welsh Mountain Zoo recognised as a popular attraction for all types of visits, before returning home for a night out in the local area. Spend quality time with your loved one at Flat 1A Mona House.

A well-liked holiday spot is the town of Deganwy, which is located on the banks of the River Conwy at the mouth of the Estuary. Deganwy is home to a marina, a few shops, bars, and eateries, as well as the remains of the castle that was once there but was later destroyed. From sea fishing, hiking, and rock climbing in the Snowdonia range to visiting the castles, mines, beaches, and gardens of this lovely length of the North Wales Coast, there are a variety of activities available in this area to suit all interests. The holiday destinations of Conwy and Llandudno are only a few miles away from Deganwy; Conwy is notable for its mediaeval castle, town walls, harbour, and twisting lanes that cater to both shopping and eateries.

Flat was cold, it took ages to get warm. Nice gesture with the proseco and lemon cakes and milk.

Perfect location, clean, stylish design and all necessities for a great stay. An ideal base for exploring the coast. I walked to Conwy and got the marvellous Deganwy train service to Llandudno, Bangor and Colwyn Bay. I would love to return with my partner and our dog and would definitely choose Mona!

The kitchen and bathroom were the smallest we have experienced. No ventilated lobby between them either. The worst aspect, however, was the auto light in the rear lobby which shone extremely bright light into the bedroom each time I used the bathroom at night with no apparent override switch. Did try to contact the owner but he didn't return my call. No direct ventilation in the bedroom either.
