Guests say

Tyn Y Coed Farm House is a spacious and well-equipped cottage set in a stunning rural location with breathtaking views of the estuary and mountains. Guests consistently praise its peaceful setting, comfortable beds, and proximity to attractions like Bodnant Garden and Snowdonia. The housekeeper is noted for being helpful and welcoming. While the access track can be challenging for low cars and some minor maintenance is suggested, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, making it a wonderful choice for families and those seeking tranquillity.

Most guests found the cottage very clean, with several mentioning its tidiness and fresh presentation. A few reviews suggested the kitchen and bathrooms could benefit from a deeper clean, but these were minor points in otherwise positive feedback.

The location is highly praised for its beautiful, secluded setting and spectacular views, as well as its convenient proximity to local attractions and beaches. The only recurring issue is the rough access track, which some found tricky for standard cars.

Guests consistently mention comfortable beds, spacious rooms, and a homely atmosphere. The cottage is described as perfect for families and very relaxing, with only minor suggestions for improved lounge seating.

The cottage is well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, including kitchen essentials and dog bowls. Some guests noted a need for more crockery, minor repairs, and maintenance to doors and lamps, but overall facilities are highly rated.

Many guests appreciated thoughtful touches such as welcome packs, snacks, flowers, and even Christmas decorations. The housekeeper's helpfulness is frequently mentioned. Please note that such gifts and extras are not guaranteed for every stay.

Our second stay at this spacious home from home with sublime views over the Conwy valley. We enjoyed sitting eating breakfast looking at the panorama with snow topped mountains, green hills, meandering river and circling birds of prey. There is lots to do locally especially if you love the outdoors, ancient ruins, and folklore. It was supposed to be raining all week but somehow we managed to dodge most of it and still had some lovely walks including a sunny but windy spring day on the beach in Anglesey. We also enjoyed a cosy dinner a very short drive away at the Hayloft above Bodnant Welsh food shop. Just don't bring your low-slung sports car as access to the house is up a rough unmade track.

A bit of a trek down the farm track but the views are fantastic once you arrive. Lovely property with plenty of facilities - minor point could do with updating seating in lounge as a bit low for pregnant daughter to sit comfortably on, but otherwise great break really enjoyed this property.
