Snaptrip says

Bryn Y Mor is a well-loved cottage in Colwyn Bay, praised for its stunning views over the estuary and comfortable living spaces. Guests have enjoyed the property's location, ideal for exploring North Wales and Snowdonia, and the thoughtful touch of Welsh cakes. The conservatory is a highlight for many, offering a serene spot for morning coffee and wildlife watching.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The property generally appears clean, but some guests noted areas that could benefit from more thorough attention, such as dust on picture rails, light fittings, and some kitchen items. The feedback suggests room for improvement in ensuring consistent cleanliness throughout.

The location is highly praised for its beautiful views and proximity to local attractions and amenities. It serves as a convenient base for exploring the surrounding countryside, though some guests noted the busy road and parking considerations.

Most guests found the house very comfortable, with a well-maintained interior and a garden area that was appreciated by pet owners. However, some mentioned that certain furniture could be updated and that the double bed was low for some.

The house is equipped with necessary facilities, but several reviews mention maintenance issues such as smoke alarms, heating, and garden gates that need attention. While the internet and kitchen are well-regarded, the upkeep of some amenities could be enhanced.

Guests have mentioned the kind gesture of being welcomed with Welsh cakes. However, as not all reviews reference such gifts, and to maintain fairness, it should be noted that while these touches are appreciated, they are not guaranteed for every stay.

The bathroom light fitting covering the live wires wasn’t fitted Shocking!. The outside garden had no lights working even though one fitted. One of our cars was keyed down three panels whilst parked outside the property on the pavement. Looking through the reviews the light in bathroom had previous been logged and nothing done about, also cars have been scratched or keyed before nothing mentioned. No list in kitchen as stated to empty bins, they were overflowing when we arrived. The step off the patio is an accident waiting to happen. Wouldn’t stay here again. Suggest Sykes go around and inspect it prior to letting out!

Narrow drive between houses to get to parking area to back of house. Garden not secure for dogs, open areas to escape on to busy main road. Had to keep dogs on lead. Out side light not working when it goes dark. Garden not ideal for children or the elderly due to high steps. Needs risk assessment. No risk assessment for garden only house in welcome book. Had a nasty fall myself due to this. Mr Harvey.
