Step out onto the streets of Llandudno and enjoy being within walking distance of all you need, from shops and supermarkets to buy ingredients for home-cooking, to pubs and restaurants, and beach-side cafés to delight in some tasty treats. Visit the Welsh Mountain Zoo for a great day out, home to tigers and even snow leopards, it's sure to impress all ages. Cycle along the Wales Coastal Path and head up the Great Orme, proving to be a challenging ride but worth it once you reach the top, or if you prefer why not get there by cable car? The Llandudno Cable Car has been running since 1969 and offers you a great way to experience the stunning views of both the town below and the coast, travelling from Happy Valley up to the summit, where the Great Orme Country Park offers a lovely place to explore on foot. Enjoy a beach day in the sun or either North Shore or West Shore Beach, or discover more lovely coastline further east at Colwyn Bay. The amazing Snowdonia National Park is within easy reach and presents many fun activities to try, not just walking and cycling; head to the inland surf pool at Surf Snowdonia to practice your skills or learn a new one, with more exciting features here like a climbing wall, and indoor and outdoor play areas.
