Deganwy is a small town in Conwy, Wales. Historically part of Caernarfonshire, the peninsula is in a region of North Wales where as many as 1 in 3 of residents are able to speak Welsh, and is home to some of the most expensive streets in Wales. Deganwy's most notable feature is Deganwy Castle, which in the 6th century was fortified as the stronghold of Maelgwn Gwynedd. The castle was later demolished by Llywelyn ap Gruffydd in 1263 so that only ruins remain today.

I found the common areas to be clean and well lighted, the unit itself was well laid out and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped. 2-3 minutes from unit to train station or bus stop. Cross the railway line and it is a nice walk along the promenade. Views are absolutely spectacular - sunsets are wonderful. Very good restaurants nearby - Nikki Ips is still excellent. Shame the village shop and Post Office have closed, but take any bus or train and you can find anything you need in Llandudno or the Junction.

Heather owner more generous than most with freebies - diolch yn fawr! Beautiful costal walks to Llandudno and Conwy and further away e.g Blaenau Ffestiniog, Conwy Nature Reserve and Bodnant Gardens. Very comfortable apartment but would agree with wife that there is too much white and grey - needs more colour. And you wouldn’t swing a cat let alone a kitten in the shower! Most guests leave positive comments and the two before us have been back there three times this year! In an uncertain world one should count our blessings and many thanks for all services provided in beautiful Deganwy

Apartment immaculate, very comfortable and little touches make it feel like a home from home! A super location for travel in North Wales. This is our second visit and we hope to return soon. Thank you so much Heather!
