Guests say

Alpine Lodge is praised for its stunning views and peaceful location, ideal for exploring North Wales. Guests appreciate the cleanliness, comfortable beds, and the warm welcome from hosts. While some find the lodge and its amenities in need of updates and maintenance, the overall experience is one of relaxation and enjoyment of the natural surroundings.

Most guests found the lodge to be clean upon arrival, with several positive remarks about its cleanliness. However, a few reports of dog mess and a dirty barbecue slightly lower the score.

The location is highly praised for its superb views and proximity to local attractions, beaches, and Snowdonia. It serves as a great base for exploring North Wales, contributing to a high score.

Guests generally find the lodge comfortable, with comfy beds and a cosy atmosphere. Some concerns about low sofas and a small shower detract from the comfort for certain guests.

While the kitchen is well-appointed and the lodge is tidy, there are multiple mentions of maintenance issues such as a lack of freezer, problems with the shower, and worn-out decking. These factors necessitate a moderate score.

There is insufficient information regarding the provision of gifts or additional thoughtful touches for guests, as only one mention of a welcome hamper was made. Therefore, it cannot be confirmed if such gestures are a consistent practice, and the score is set to null.

The view was exceptional and sitting on the verandah first thing is what holidays are made of. We had pretty much everything we needed and when we discovered the teapot was broken a replacement arrived very quickly. The property was really comfortable and made us and our dogs feel at home. Cannot say thank you enough to the owners for their welcome, advice and approachability in particular over our campervan which had developed an engine fault and was dealt with by the garage they used. No one could have anticipated the glorious weather which added to an ace holiday experience. Thank you.

Dirty, run down in disrepair and smelly and needs some tlc and money spent on it to bring it back up to a decent standard. Would not recommend. Made some comments in the visitors book which I hope the owner takes notice of

The milk and biscuits provided on arrival were a welcome surprise! This clean, warm, cosy accommodation is surrounded by beautiful countryside, yet only a short drive or walk to the beach. There are plenty of places to visit locally, including venues of historical interest. The local towns offer many take-aways, cafes and restaurants to choose from, although the kitchen is well-equipped, incuding a full-sized cooker, hob and microwave. Seeking a quiet, relaxing break, we appreciated the Sky TV package included in the cost of the holiday. The lodge provided plenty of room for us and the tranquility that we had sought. We will definitely be returning!
