Guests consistently praise 'The Stable' for its peaceful and relaxing setting, with its proximity to stunning beaches and local amenities like The Britannia Inn. The accommodation is described as comfortable and well-equipped, providing a cosy base for exploring the Gower. The friendly owners and the presence of animals add to the charm of this idyllic retreat.
The property is repeatedly described as clean and well-kept, with only one mention of a noisy boiler but no direct reference to cleanliness issues.
The location is highly praised for its beauty and proximity to local attractions, although one review mentioned challenges with the access road and another noted outdated directions.
Overall, guests find the accommodation comfortable. There is a single mention of an uncomfortable bed, but this seems to be an isolated view.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with mentions of a well-equipped property. However, there are a few minor criticisms, such as the lack of an ice box and a noisy boiler.
While the reviews reflect positively on the hospitality and helpfulness of the hosts, there are no specific mentions of gifts, so it is not possible to score thoughtfulness in this context.

Coming back to The Stable after strolling along lovely beaches on a cold and windy days in December, was a real treat. The cottage is cosy, well equipped, comfortable and has a nice bathroom. The roomy shower has a fixed and a moveable spray head. Pubs and a small supermarket are not too far away. Based in the small hamlet of Cheriton: Rhossili, Port Eynon and Oxwich bays are only 25-30 minutes away. Closer to hand, Llangennith beach is popular with surfers but also makes for wonderful walks at low tides. You'll have to go to Swansea if you want to find different types of entertainment to what the Gower has to offer. but why would you?

Lovely cottage in a lovely village, owners are helpful and friendly. The only downside was the noisy boiler.
Mrs Foley
We choose this cottage for the peace and quiet and it didn't let us down just what we needed .There are enough walks and areas around locally for you to get steps in and then the quiet relaxation later. Our dog loved it too .The little bench up the small hill on the property was lovely to sit with a drink and admire the amazing views. The owners made us feel very welcome and you can get fresh eggs from them which are lovely and fresh you can hear the chickens that laid them .The pub is five minute walk away so was lovely on a evening to walk with our dog have a couple of drinks and walk back be careful as it does include walking on the road but not much traffic so all good .So glad we found you thank you
