Guests say

Robin Cottage in Gower, Swansea, is praised for its peaceful location and suitability for families and dogs. Guests appreciate the proximity to beaches and local amenities, including a welcoming pub. The enclosed garden and cosy atmosphere are highlights, though some guests suggest attention to cleanliness and maintenance would enhance the experience.

Guests have reported varying levels of cleanliness, with some finding the cottage spotless and others noting the presence of dog hair and the need for a deeper clean. The inconsistency leads to a slightly above-average score.

The location is consistently praised for its centrality to Gower's beaches and attractions, with a charming village setting and a nearby pub. The convenience and scenic surroundings contribute to a high score.

Many guests find the cottage cosy and comfortable, with adequate space and a warm atmosphere. However, some concerns about maintenance issues slightly reduce the score.

The cottage is well-equipped for both short and long stays, with an enclosed garden for dogs. However, reports of overgrown gardens, broken furniture, and the need for updates in some areas affect the score.

There are no specific mentions of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts. As such, this category cannot be scored.

Overall the cottage was cosy and we enjoyed our stay in this lovely area that we know very well. We contacted the agency about the upstairs toilet and they were very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this property but it really needs some TLC in all rooms before I would recommend, and having a decent hoover would help too.

Beautiful location and local pub/hotel in walking distance The cottage lacked cleanliness. However well equipped with a beautiful log burner and heating system which kept the cottage warm especially at this time of year.

Enjoyed a lovely stay in Robin Cottage. Found it to be a very comfortable and welcoming cottage with plenty of space and adequately stocked with all the items needed to make your stay home from home. The decking in the rear garden does get very slippery when wet, so care is needed, but our dog enjoyed the safe and secure garden. Reynoldston is a picturesque and peaceful village, with a great pub and village shop. The cottage is perfectly situated to enjoy all that The Gower has to offer with nothing in the region more than a 20 minute drive away. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely revisit.
