Excellent cottage, we would highly recommend it for a family reunion or a couple of families staying together. The layout of the cottage works really well, the beds are super comfortable and WiFi is good (as one of our party needed to work while there). There are amazing coastal walks on the doorstep. We loved the log fire after a wet and windy walk and we were cosy despite December temperatures. We hope to return in the future.

Holly Tree Lodge was absolutely amazing to stay in, very comfortable and had everything we needed, including kitchen facilities for the keen cooks in the family. The upstairs was a wonderful bonus with great space for reading. The sofas were comfy and the dining table had ample space for our party of 8 adults. We were close by to lots of beautiful beaches, we particularly liked Oxwich bay. All in all a fabulous week, we just wish we’d booked for two! We would definitely recommend Holly Tree Lodge.

A few very small issues. The boiler is REALLY smelly and situated in the kitchen between living room and bedrooms. Constant smell of diesel in the house from the boiler was most unpeasasnt I'm afraid. The shower shown in the website gallery is not present in the property. To us, a shower is a shower so it wasn't an issue, but some guests might be disappointed! The kitchen was way too small to do much cooking. We were only 2 p[eople, heaven knows how you would cook for a family of 4 with hardly any worktop space and a small island. With the dining room so far away on the other side of the living room it couldn't be used as a food prep area. So for us, the property had issues, which is a shame as otherwise it was a lively place to stay
