Tirmynydd Farm Cottage receives high praise for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and well-equipped facilities, making it ideal for families and groups. Guests appreciate the peaceful location, large garden, and proximity to the Gower’s beaches and attractions. The owner is frequently mentioned as helpful and welcoming. While most found the cottage comfortable, a few noted issues with some mattresses and minor maintenance points. The cottage is especially valued as a base for exploring the area, with thoughtful touches throughout. Overall, it offers a warm, homely atmosphere in a beautiful setting.
Multiple reviews highlight the cottage as very clean and well maintained, even with it being dog-friendly. Only one review mentioned a split toilet seat, but this was a minor issue compared to the overwhelmingly positive feedback.
Guests consistently praise the location for its tranquillity, proximity to Gower beaches, and convenience for exploring the area. The peaceful setting and access to local amenities like the shop and pub are frequently mentioned.
Most guests found the cottage comfortable, spacious, and cosy. However, a few reviews mention uncomfortable mattresses in some rooms and the lack of an upstairs bathroom for larger groups, which slightly lowers the score.
The cottage is repeatedly described as very well equipped, with ample kitchenware, laundry facilities, garden furniture, and games. The secure garage for bikes and large garden are also appreciated. Minor maintenance issues were noted but did not detract significantly from the overall experience.
Guests frequently mention thoughtful touches such as detailed information, cleaning products, tourist guides, and excellent communication from the owner. While some reviews mention these extras, please note that such gifts or provisions are not guaranteed.

Very well equipped cottage, with a large garden. Not too far from some very nice beaches, although parking at some I.e. Caswell beach can be difficult as it gets very busy.

We, four fellas in the area to play golf, loved our stay. The cottage was very clean on our arrival. It was equipped with everything we needed. It was in a great location with a pub and a village shop a short walk away. Communication with the hosts was excellent and Kath was super helpful. Would definitely recommend and we are thinking of returning next year
