Situated on the owner’s small holding, this property has everything to offer for a family break, featuring a spacious open plan living space with an open fire in the living area, alongside a Smart TV and Bluetooth speaker. The property is set all on the ground floor and features two bedrooms, one kingsize bedroom and a twin room.
Outside is a lovely courtyard to the front of the property, with a flowing stream along with resident ducks and views over the open countryside. To the right of the property is a large field which the children or animals can play in. Mallard is the ideal property for those looking to explore the local area. Walks can be had directly from the door of the property and over the owner’s land. For those bringing dogs, please ensure that they are kept on a lead whilst on the owners land due to the sheep, chickens, ducks and horses that graze there.
There is much to see and do in the local area. Spend the day at Rhossili beach, just 2 miles away, or head over to Worms Head, but make sure you are back before the tide comes in! For those looking for watersports then Llangennith beach is the place to be with an array of activities on offer throughout the year.
A great afternoon out can be had at the falconry centre in Penmaen, where lots of birds of prey can be seen, such as buzzards, owls and hawks. Whatever you decide to do on this holiday, Mallard is a great place to base yourself. Beach 2 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

A comfortable and clean cottage in idyllic rural situation. The extras upon arrival much appreciated. We would have liked a couple of cushions and a throw on the sofa.A couple of hooks in bathroom. And a blind in kitchen window.Otherwise faultless.

This experience was ruined for us almost the moment we arrived. We accidentally entered the wrong cottage .There are two almost identical cottages side by side and as i say we stepped inside the wrong one. A angry man suddenly appeared telling us we had entered the wrong cottage. I apologized and said i was unsure of which was ours . The reply i had was just a one sharp word ASK. There were no pleasantries exchanged which is the norm , we cut our stay short and left after a few nights.

. Certainly not a cottage for elderly or disabled people, entry is by a steep short footpath which can be most difficult. Bedrooms very comfortable, but kitchen and bathroom had problem areas.
