And for walkers, you can leave the car behind and pick up the Brecon Beacons Way close by. Bannau Brycheiniog has many picturesque places that are free for you to explore, so why not visit the reservoirs at Crai and Usk (10 miles) or climb Fan Fawr, enjoying the views across the Beacons before descending to Llyn y Fan Fawr? Other attractions include the Wales Ape and Monkey Sanctuary (2.5 miles). The Four Waterfalls Walk at Ystradellte and Forest Fawr Geo Park are both just 12 miles away.
