On the ground floor there are two well-appointed bedrooms, one twin and one double with sea views, offer comfortable sleeping arrangements and A modern bathroom featuring a walk-in shower.

Hi, Yr Encil was a good place to stay, it caters for 8, there was only 3 of us & a dog. Marvellous place, plenty of room if there is 8 of you. Plenty of seating area’s inside & out. Walking distance to local shops . Beds are really comfy, & all rooms are spacious. Requested a visitor’s book. Thanks. Steve, Jan & Tilly

Yr Encil is a lovely house, the interior is beautifully decorated and furnished and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking every day. On arrival the house was spotlessly clean, and there was a decent amount of basics like toilet paper, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets, which was fabulous.The two bathrooms are equipped with good, strong showers and hand soap.The balcony is great for catching a bit of sun whilst at the house and the gas barbecue, which was nice and clean, was good to have.We loved New Quay and the position of Yr Encil was great for us, but it may be tricky for anyone with mobility issues to get into the centre as the hills are steep in places.A couple of tweaks would improve the property further, we felt it was missing a large (king sized) double bed for luxuriating in and the bed in the balcony room was not very comfortable. The downstairs outside space is functional and tidy, but doesn’t really match the quality of the house interior. Our little dog was secure inside, but a larger dog might be able to jump the gate.Overall we really enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return.
