73 Cildraeth is a welcoming lodge set on the popular Woodlands Lodge Retreat near Llanarth, close to the seaside towns of New Quay and Aberaeron. Surrounded by woodland and bordered by a stream, this dog-friendly retreat offers a peaceful base for families and friends looking to explore the Ceredigion coast and countryside. Accessed via three external steps, the lodge is arranged over one level and benefits from enclosed decking to the front and side. After a day spent exploring the local area, unwind with a drink on the decked veranda and enjoy the tranquil woodland setting. Inside, the open-plan living space is bright and contemporary, with a well-equipped kitchen, dining area and comfortable sitting area complete with an electric coal-effect fire.

The lodge offers two attractive bedrooms, comprising a double and a twin, along with a family shower room. The holiday park features a woodland trail following the River Llethi towards Cei Bach Beach, a dog-friendly beach that welcomes four-legged companions throughout the year. At low tide, you can continue along the coast into New Quay, a vibrant seaside town known for its sandy beaches, harbour and boat trips across Cardigan Bay. A little further along the coast, Aberaeron offers colourful Georgian architecture, independent shops and a selection of cafés and restaurants. Outdoor enthusiasts will find plenty to enjoy nearby, from scenic coastal walks and cycling routes to fishing opportunities and wildlife-watching excursions.

For a day out, explore the National Trust's Llanerchaeron estate or discover the beautiful beaches and hidden coves dotted along this stretch of the Welsh coastline. Whether you're seeking coastal adventures, countryside walks or simply a relaxing break surrounded by nature, 73 Cildraeth provides a wonderful base from which to enjoy West Wales.

The popular Welsh village of Llanarth is situated close to the Cardigan Bay coast, offering a welcoming pub and a shop, which although small, is very well stocked, and a farm shop/butcher selling local produce. Llanarth is located on the main A487 coast road, which opens up numerable options and places to visit. Just a short drive away are various beaches, fishing lakes and the regency harbour town of Aberaeron, along with wonderful walks and cycle routes that are easily accessible. The popular beachside harbour town of New Quay is just 3 miles away, where you will find a traditional seaside feel and perhaps the chance to buy the day's catch. Lovely shops, tea rooms, ice cream parlours, fish and chip shops, dolphin watching and boat rides can all be enjoyed in New Quay. With the picturesque Cardigan coastline and the inland beauty of the Cambrian Mountains and Preselli Hills, this is a perfect location for any type of holiday you’re looking for.

Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, on-site shared coin operated washing machine and tumble dryer, dishwasher.

TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi may be available on-site but is not available within the lodge.

Off-road designated parking space for 1 car.

Enclosed veranda with furniture.

Use of holiday park communal grounds and woodland walk.

Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome in the lodge and on the park site and a separate dog shower can be found on the Woodlands site (behind the park office) and a small, gated dog play area called “wooflands”.

Please be advised that any dog listed on the banned dogs list under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 is not permitted in the lodge or on the Woodlands Lodge Retreat site at all.
