I was very disappointed by this cottage, it is not up to the usual standards that i have come to expect from UK stays. From the minute you enter you can smell a musty damp smell which lingered all week. I'm afraid no amount of reed diffusers would combat the problem. Certain bits of furniture also felt damp and the rug definitely was. There was also a lot of unnecessary clutter and no storage space in the kitchen. Not having a thermostat is also a negative - the heating definitely does not come on at 4pm as previously stated, okay you can override it but it is no good coming into a cold damp house at the end of the day. Having said that the cottage is in a superb location not far from the coast, a pub and a few places to eat. Its definitely got potential.

Lovely cottage. We really enjoyed our stay .Timer for the central heating could be adjusted to come on earlier in the evening .We definetly would stay there again.

Although it was great being in our favourite village, Dol Llan was not great. The rug in the lounge area was damp all week, we presume due to cleaning before we arrived. As only a couple of the radiators were on at random times it therefore felt chilly and smelt musty. The kitchen definitely needs updating as does the shower. Too much personal clutter everywhere made it feel like someone else’s home rather than a let. Sorry, but we were quite disappointed 😞
