. Spectacular coastline and wonderful views can be savoured from the National Trust managed Penbryn Bay and a visit to National Trust Cilgerran Castle can also be enjoyed. Only the ruins remain of this striking 13th-century castle, whose vantage point overlooks the wonderful Teifi Gorge. Also nearby is the town of Cardigan with its restored medieval castle. The Teifi Valley Railway is another experience for the visitor, a 2-mile journey offers wonderful views of the valley and countryside. Golf and horse riding can also be found locally. Beach 5 miles.

Everything we wanted from a cottage in Wales in Autumn. Spotlessly clean, well equipped, very comfortable, super large fully enclosed garden, charming and helpful owners next door and a welcome basket of goodies including treats for our dog.I would not hesitate to recommend this cottage.

The cottage was perfect for ours and our dogs needs. Lovely enclosed garden and well equipped kitchen. The location was ideal for a local beach for dog runs that also had cafes and an award winning restaurant.It was in an ideal location to Carmarthen, a big city, and New Quay a little seaside town. Everywhere was very dog friendly. I would highly recommend Tyn y Coed.
