Chefs of the kitchen can make themselves at home, fire up the gas hob and woodburning oven, then make yourself a cuppa as you settle in. Once dinner is ready, gather around the dining table to share stories and ideas for the adventures ahead. Once plates are clear, sink into the leather sofa and soak in the serene countryside views from the tent opening. Freshen up in the shower room with a separate basin and WC for convenience. Then choose between three spaces to rest your head. Feel the fluffy rug in the king-size bedroom, sink into one of the beds in the twin room or peel back the door in the open-plan living space to find a quaint double cabin bed. In the morning, sip a brew on the decking, fire up the barbecue to dine alfresco in the afternoon, then take a dip in the hot tub below the stars in the evening. With an on-site cafe nearby, you won't have to venture far if you want a bite to eat, or take a short trip to the nearest town for pubs or to stock up on treats from the shop. The bustling market town of Newcastle Emlyn is set on the River Teifi and offers an array of shops, both unique local producers and larger chain stores, such as designer clothes, crafts and jewellery, antiques, tea rooms, pubs, restaurants and a ruined castle, plus fishing permits are available nearby. Surrounding Newcastle Emlyn is beautiful countryside, whilst the rugged Cardiganshire coastline is just six miles away, where you have the opportunity to visit Cardigan Island Farm Park, wonderful sandy beaches, or take a boat trip to spot dolphins and seals at New Quay. Within driving distance is the town of Carmarthen, Dylan Thomas' Boat House in Laugharne, Cenarth Falls, paintballing, Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo and train rides at Henllan, along with an array of castles, mills and craft centres. Newcastle Emlyn is an excellent base for exploring this part of Wales.
