This converted smart and spacious barn offers holidays in the beautiful Teifi Valley, close to the small village of Capel Iwan and the Cardigan Coast. One well behaved dog is welcome. This Teifi Valley barn is tastefully furnished throughout with three en-suite bedrooms (each with a TV), comfortable seating and a large TV in the roomy lounge which opens out into a smart and well-appointed kitchen. Five steps down from here lead into the dining area with table and chairs, sofa and patio doors opening onto an enclosed rear private garden. One well behaved dog is welcome.
This is a great base for lovers of country walks (your four legged friends will be in paradise!), bird watchers, photographers, artists and sparkling night skies to delight stargazers. Within an easy drive there is the glorious marine heritage coastline to discover, fascinating museums, gardens and the Teifi Valley Steam Railway to enjoy. The helpful owners of Kite Cottage live across the courtyard. Beach 11 miles. Pub and restaurant 2½ miles.

Lovely cottage which suited our multi-generational family.the area is not so good you need transport to go anywhere.

We have had a lovely week, 4 adults, 1 teenager and a dog. The cottage was lovely decorated and comfortable. The large secure garden was great for us and our dog. And due to being about 2 miles from Newcastle Emlyn it was very quiet. The owners were friendly and helpful and the milk, bread, welsh cakes and wine was lovely to arrive too after a long journey.The Beds are very comfortable and the 3 bathrooms made getting ready in a morning so much quicker and definitely an added bonus to the cottage.We explored lots of lovely beaches and seaside towns. Even Tenby was only about 1 hours drive. But the sat nav did like taking us down some very tight single track roads. Thank you for a lovely holiday and we 100% recommend Kite cottage as base for exploring this lovely part of Wales.

We have stayed in dog friendly cottages for many years, and this one is a real gem when compared to many.The hosts were fantastic, and the cottage is in a quiet location a couple of miles away from the nearest town. 3 bedrooms with very comfy beds, all en-suite, a well equipped kitchen and a nice spacious area with decent (read as: exceptionally fast) wifi.We had one dog (medium/large), and the garden is secure, no hidden gaps for our dog like some gardens seem to have, it was secure.It was incredibly quiet in the day to relax in the garden under the shade of the tall tree on a hot couple of days, and if you are in the area to travel, you are within reach of the beaches to the north, south and west with 30-80 minutes travel time.Great place to stay, would highly recommend the cottage if you are looking to visit the area.
